Drummond Community Bank opened in January 1990 in a small space in a Chiefland, Florida shopping center. In the subsequent years, Drummond grew and expanded by opening numerous banking offices, including one in Crystal River. 

Drummond Community Bank was organized by a group of business owners who were passionate to adhere to two guiding principles: to embrace the old-fashioned idea that banking remains a people business, and to be open to “change” as a tool to enhance service.

Each Drummond Community Bank location is unique. They are designed and decorated in a way that ensures that they will never seem dated or out of style. When visiting our locations, you will notice that artifacts are displayed on plinths, creating a "museum like" feeling to the interiors.

Art in the bank, much from the private collection of Luther Drummond, compliments the various periods and styles of furnishings.

As technology evolved, the need for customers to come into the bank lobby diminished. Customers were drawn toward the convenience of our drive-thru lanes. Most Drummond Community Bank locations now feature drive-thru lanes as well as ATMs. The features and hours of operation for the Crystal River branch can be found on right-hand side of this page.
