Community Involvement

A lot can happen when we all come together. We’re not just tellers, lenders, and business professionals, but we’re good people too.

We’re Lending More than Money. We’re Lending a Hand

COVID-19 Community Relief

Drummond Community Bank directed more than $80 million in PPP loans to support recovery efforts across the communities it serves.

Small Business Community Support

Drummond Community Bank has assisted over 1700 local small businesses with their business needs by lending approximately $230 million…...

Being in an agricultural area, the local farmers have learned to depend on DCB for small farm loans.  We have loaned over $50 million to local farmers within our communities.

Charitable Giving & Sponsorships

Drummond Community Bank looks for opportunities where our funding can have a clear, measurable impact on the community. We provide contributions and sponsorships, which support organizations across our footprint.  Some organizations that we support are listed below:

  • Local school boards
  • Rotary clubs
  • Little leagues
  • Suwannee River Fair & Livestock Assoc.
  • United Way
  • Local Chambers of Commerce
  • Civic Organizations

Educational Programs

Working with local nonprofits, DCB donated $400,000 to Step up For Students which uses the funds to create education scholarships for underprivileged Kindergarten through High School students

DCB also partners with the University of Florida Performing Arts Program which provides free School-Day Performance opportunities to K-12 students at the Phillips Center. UFPA covers the artist fees, facility fees, and school bus costs associated with these opportunities, which means there is no charge to the student or school.

Fight Hunger

We are committed to fighting hunger in our local communities through contributions and employee volunteers. Drummond Bank supports local food banks, food pantries, and other hunger relief programs through our partnership with Food4Kids Backpack Program of North Florida.

Volunteerism

We support our employees who dedicate their time to charitable causes that are meaningful to them. In 2020, our co-workers provide many hours of volunteer service – both virtual and in-person - across our communities. Some of the ways our workers volunteer are listed below:

  • Rotary Club Officers
  • County School Foundation
  • Chamber of Commerce
  • Booster club member
  • Boy Scouts
  • Youth sports coach
  • Lions club
  • County Homeless Council
  • United Way
